History
Charlton P.S. is named after John Charlton, one of the original farmers in the area.
Our school motto is Safety, Respect, and Learning.
Our school mascot is the cheetah.
Facilities
Charlton P.S. was officially opened in 1988. An addition was placed on the original school in 2002.
A child-care centre, owned and operated by the YMCA, is located at Charlton P.S.
Charlton P.S. hosts a Thornhill Ontario Early Years outreach location.
Mission
In order to support the Board's mission Charlton P.S. is committed to the development of a cooperative school community that encourages students to become responsible learners and citizens with the skills to work individually and collectively, respectful of others, in a changing Canadian society.
